De Lomo Gallego a Teror

Para realizar este recorrido sólo de ida le recomendamos que se desplace desde el Casco de Teror al Cruce de Aríñez con la guagua 214 y desde ahí tome dirección hacia la Caldera. Este sendero es un tramo del antiguo camino real que desde Santa Brígida llega a Teror.

El recorrido se inicia en lo alto de la Caldera de Pino Santo, junto a un estanque, donde empieza una pista de tierra que conduce al cauce del barranco del Faro y se une con un camino que conserva parte del antiguo empedrado. Transcurrido un kilómetro aproximadamente se llega a la Fuente de El Laurelar, con su bebedero. Desde este punto se asciende hasta El Faro, desde donde se aprecia unas buenas vistas del Casco de Teror.

El camino continua por una senda que transcurre por tierras de labranza y que se corta por la carretera de El Álamo en dos ocasiones. Una vez que se abandona la carretera asfaltada, el camino se dirige al barranco del Fondillo pasando por la Cuesta Falcón. En el cauce del Barranco el camino pasa al margen izquierdo ascendiendo hasta llegar al barrio de El Álamo y desde aquí por El Chorrito hasta llegar al Casco de Teror.

From Lomo Gallego to Teror

To begin this walk, we suggest that that you go to the intersection of Aríñez (Cruce de Aríñez) from Teror's historical centre on bus number 214. From there, begin walking towards La Caldera. This footpath is a section of the old royal pathway that that linked Santa Brígida with Teror. The route begins at the Caldera de Pino, next to a reservoir, where a dirt track leads to the Faro valley river bank which, in turn, joins an old stone path. After 1km, you will arrive at the Laurelar spring and watering hole. From here, walk up to El Faro where you can appreciate superb views of Teror's historical centre.  The trail passes by farmland and is broken, on two occasions, by the highway from El Álamo. Once you have left the paved highway, the trail follows the Fondillo ravine, passing by Falcón hill. From the dry riverbed, walk up to the left bank, until you reach the hamlet of El Álamo, El Chorrito and finally reaching the village of Teror.

  Wanderweg Pino Santo

Vom Lomo Gallego bis nach Teror

Der Ausgangspunt dieses Wanderweges liegt an der Kreuzung Cruce de Aríñez. Sie können von Teror aus mit der Buslinie 214 dort hin gelangen. Einmal angekommen, gehen Sie in Richtung La Caldera. Dieser Wanderweg entspricht einem Abschnitt des ehemaligen Haupthandelsweg der Santa Brígida mit Teror verband. Die Wanderung beginnt also am obersten Punkt des Schuttkessels von Pino Santo neben einem Weiher. Dort beginnt ein Schotterweg, der zur Sohle der Schlucht von El Faro führt und geht in einen Pfad über der teilweise noch gepflastert ist. Nach ca. 1 km erreicht man die Quelle von El Laurelar, die über eine Viehtränke verfügt. Von der Quelle steigt man bis zum El Faro auf. Am El Faro hat man eine herrliche Aussicht über die Innenstadt von Teror. Gehen Sie auf dem Pfad weiter, der nun durch Ackerland führt. Der Wanderfahrt kreuzt zweimal die Straße von El Álamo. Wenn Sie die asphaltierte Straße verlassen, geht der Pfad über die Falcón-Abstieg Richtung Fondillo-Schlucht weiter. Der Pfad verläuft links vom trockenen Flussbett der Schlucht und geht bis zum Ortsteil El Álamo aufwärts. Nun gehen Sie weiter über El Chorrito bis Sie schließlich in der Altstadt von Teror ankommen.
